We kick off 2018 on the healthcast with Brian Hanton, District Director of Basin Recreation. In this episode, Brian gives an overview of the variety of services Basin Recreation offers to the public, ranging from their Kimball’s Junction Fieldhouse to numerous parks and trail systems through Snyderville Basin.  Nearly half (150 miles) of western Summit County’s maintained trails are under the care of Basin Recreation. In addition to traditional amenities such as weights, workout equipment, playing fields and swimming pools, the fieldhouse also offers a number of classes for people of all ages, including toddlers and senior citizens and regularly hosts a variety of rec sports leagues.
