The percentage of population receiving COVID-19 Vaccine is calculated by the number of individuals receiving the vaccine divided by the population estimate for that age group living in Summit County. The methodology used thus far utilized the Census Population Estimates for the denominator population. The new methodology aims to more accurately estimate the population increase to 2021 until the new Census data is available.

As of May 18, 2021, total of 29,487 first dose vaccines have been administered to persons living in Summit County. These doses include those provided by the Summit County Health Department and outside partners, including Intermountain Park City Hospital and others.The percentage of population receiving COVID-19 Vaccine is calculated by the number of individuals receiving the vaccine divided by the population estimate for that age group living in Summit County. Please note: the vaccination clinic located at the Utah Film Studio (UFS) has stopped administering first dose vaccinations but will continue to offer second dose appointments. The last day of vaccine operations at the UFS will be May 27, 2021.

As of May 18, 2021, a total of 21,279 second dose vaccines have been administered to persons living in Summit County.

There are 528 second dose appointments scheduled with Summit County Health Department. Individuals must receive their second dose with the provider they received their first dose.

As of May 18, 2021, a total of 2,492 single dose vaccines (Johnson and Johnson) have been administered to persons living in Summit County. The Advisory Committee on Vaccine Practices (ACIP) has resumed the administration of the single dose vaccines.

The Summit County Health Department is now offering vaccines at their department offices located in Park City, Coalville, and Kamas. Please call (435) 333-1500 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

The Emergency Use Authorization for Pfizer vaccines was modified to include ages 12 through 15 years old. Summit County residents 12-17 years old who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine can receive their vaccine at the upcoming NOMI clinics listed below.

Upcoming Clinics:

  • There will be a clinic at the Kamas City Building, located at 170 N. Main Street in Kamas, Utah, on Saturday, May 22nd from 12-8 PM. The clinic will offer the Pfizer vaccine for individuals 12 years old and older, and Johnson and Johnson for 18+. Both walkup and pre-registration appointments will be taken.
