The Summit County Health Department is issuing a 30-day formal notice and comment period during which the public can review the proposed Launch of a Gray Water Program and Swimming Pool Program Fees for permitting and the closing of public swimming pools due to noncompliance issues and submit comments to the Health Department in writing by email or mail or in person at the September 13, 2021 Board of Health Meeting
Summit County is progressively looking into options to assist with draught conditions and better use of gray water options conforming to the Utah R317-401- Graywater Systems code. Also, due to continued noncompliance from public swimming pools to adhere to Utah Administrative Code Rule 392-302 Utah Public Swimming Pool Code, the closure is being adjusted to accommodate additional closure performed by Summit County Health Department Staff.
At this time, the Board is seeking comments in regards to the proposed increases to the Health Department regulatory permit fees. The proposed changes can be viewed online, HERE.
Comments must be postmarked or received at the Summit County Health Department by 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on Friday, September 03, 2021.
