The Summit Count Health Department is issuing a 30-day formal notice and comment period during which the public can review the proposed fee increase for the Summit County Water Concurrency Program. Please submit comments to the Health Department in writing either by email or mail, or via video conference at the April 13, 2023 Board of Health Meeting.

The Summit County Health Department operates the Summit County Water Concurrency Program. This program requires a 3rd party engineering firm to conduct records audits. Due to increasing price of services, the annual Water Concurrency fee collected from each of the participating water companies will increase to the following:

Public Drinking Water System: $3300 annually.

Exempt Public Drinking Water System: $750 annually.

At this time, the Board of Health is seeking comments in regards to the prosed fee increase for the Summit County Water Concurrency Program.  The proposed changes can be viewed online.

Comments must be postmarked or received at the Summit County Health Department by 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Comments may be emailed to nbrooks@summitcounty.org. Public comments will also be taken at the Board of Health meeting held on Monday, April 13, 2023 at 4:00 pm Via Zoom.
