Summit County Health Department is working with the Summit County Board of Health to make updates to the Summit County Code of Health. As proposed updates are approved by the Board of Health, they are posted for public comment for 30 days before they are adopted.
The following changes were proposed to “Chapter 4 Communicable Diseases” and “Chapter 9 Tobacco and Synthetic Nicotine Control” and were approved by the Board of Health on October 7, 2024. Please reference the documents below to compare the current version of the code and the proposed version for these chapters.
All public comment on the proposed changes must be postmarked or received no later than 11:59 pm on November 10, 2024.
