
Women are recommended to start getting mammograms at 40-years-old. This month, Summit County Health has mobile clinics scheduled for your convenience in Kamas (4/23) and Coalville (4/29).
- To make an appointment to visit the Kamas bus on April 23 through the University of Utah, call 435-783-3161. The mobile clinic will be parked outside the Kamas Services Building (110 N Main St.)
- To make an appointment to visit the Coalville bus on April 29 through Intermountain Healthcare, call 385-266-4437. The mobile clinic will be parked outside Coalville City Hall.

According to Utah’s Public Health Indicator System (IBIS):
- Since 1994, the mammography screening rate in Utah has consistently fallen below the U.S. rate. In 2022, only 63.8% of Utah women aged 40 and older had received a mammogram in the last two years compared with 68.2% of U.S. women. Utah is ranked 44th in the nation for mammography screening.
