Vaccines are currently available to all persons 50 and older, as well as those 18 and over with qualifying co-conditions. Summit County residents 16-17 years old who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine can receive their vaccine in Salt Lake County or Utah County. A list of those vaccine providers is found here: https://coronavirus-download.utah.gov/Health/Pfizer_Providers_for_16-17_YO.pdf

Among the 13 Utah Health Districts, Summit County is second highest for the number of vaccines given per capita. We are only limited by the number of vaccines we receive.

Based on the approximate average of 700 doses we currently receive each week from the State those 65+ should all have an opportunity to receive their first dose by the end of March.

If you or someone you know is 60+ and has not had the opportunity to schedule a vaccine appointment, please call our COVID-19 Hotline at 435-333-0050 to get an appointment.
