In this episode of the healthcast, we chat with Jerre Holmes, who was nominated as Utah’s Superintendent of the Year by his peers. We discuss the challenges youth in North Summit face today with mental health and technology, and the I SWEAR (Inspiring Students With Empowering Adult Relationships) program the district created to help reach out and provide support to every child. In addition to mental health, we also discuss the change in sports activities in today’s youth culture, the importance of concussion safety and overall youth health.
