The proposed Water Concurrency ordinance will replace the Water Concurrency ordinance currently in use, and will be under the authority of the Summit County Board of Health, as part of the Code of Health. Water Concurrency requires that water companies in the Snyderville Basin demonstrate water supply and demand within their organizations. This draft ordinance also proposes that Water Concurrency be expanded to Eastern Summit County in three years.
Following the public comment period, the Summit County Board of Health will evaluate each comment and the proposed will be revised, as appropriate, based on the comments received.
Again, comments must be postmarked or received at the Summit County Health Department by 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on March 17, 2016. The proposed Code of Health can be found at www.summitcountyhealth.org.
