All services available and open to Kamas residents

(April 9, 2018) — With the official public opening of the South Summit County Services building, the Summit County Health Department encourages Kamas and South Summit Residents to visit its new office.

Located upstairs in the new building, the health department office offers immunizations, women’s health services, WIC programming and more in its new clinic and exam areas. Valley Behavioral Health and the Mental Wellness Alliance’s Communities That Care Coordinator also have offices in the space.

“We’re extremely pleased with these new facilities and encourage residents to drop by and visit us,” Summit County Health Director, Rich Bullough said. “This will be a space the community can use for years to come and we’re happy to have an amazing group working here. “

Throughout the construction of the new facilities, the health department maintained services at a temporary space across town. The health department is located on the second floor of the South Summit County Services building at 110 N Main in Kamas. Hours are 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
